Student Work. Our Interior Furniture Design students produce a wide variety of project outcomes during their studies including hand drawing, model making, presentation, conceptualisation, sample boards and digital rendering. This culminates in a professional, work ready portfolio.
The first thing you'll need to do is to take the fluorescent light bulb and the balloon into a dark room. Charge the balloon by rubbing it on your hair or on your sweater. You will need to rub it quickly and repeatedly to build up a lot of charge for this experiment. Very carefully, touch the charged balloon to the light bulb.

Texture is the element of art that refers to the way things feel, or look as if you could feel if touched (the illusion of touch). Types of textures. Texture is the character of a surface and is both tactile and visual. A Tactile means touch. Tactile texture is the actual (3D) feel of a surface. This is of paramount importance to three-dimensional design but of only moderate interest in two-dimensional design. The actual surface textureneeds to either be felt, or seen with light raking across its surface to make the texture visible. |
